Following The Geese

Tonight is my last night in Ohio, tomorrow we leave at the crack of dawn to board a plane to Florida for a week. To pass time I will be toting my laptops as carry-on as well as my PSP. I've downloaded a new RPG for the trip called Brave Story: New Traveler. So I'll let you know the verdict on that one, but it looks pretty good.

They always serve the yummiest sandwiches on our flights to Florida. Sad thing about it is the sandwich is only about 3" long and 2" wide. Just large enough to make you realize you really wish it were bigger. I wonder if they will serve us sandwiches on this flight, because it's so early? Or if they will give us something else like muffins?

Don't get me wrong, muffins are great, but those sandwiches > muffins.

Joy!

At 3:56pm my little sister gave birth to a healthy happy baby girl. She is 6lb. 12.5oz. 19 inches (the baby, not my sister). She is quite possibly the most precious baby I have ever seen. Words cannot express how happy I am for them. <3

Congratulations Holly!

Edit: Posted right at 4 PM, I win!

Something Cool

On my way to the shop this morning I got stopped at a red light and the car ahead of me had the license plate: 2 UR HLTH

I thought it was pretty cool and it made me smile. Not everyone's a dickface.

Life

As some of you may know, my little sister Holly is going to have her baby in less than a week if everything goes according to plan. I am so excited! She will grace us with a darling girl. That means I'll be an aunt not only to 2 nephews but finally a niece!

I'm on the edge of my seat everyday waiting for the call that she's gone into labor. Then I'll probably make myself sick with worry until I get the second call that everything went well. I wish I still lived up there so I could be there with her during the joyous yet icky event (lets face it as beautiful as bringing a new life into this world is, it's also pretty gross). I'll just have to be patient and wait to meet my new niece.

Finally, something to make September a happy month again.
