As expected the holidays are a super busy this year. I had to take some time out of my busy schedule to let everyone know our shop is nearing completion and almost ready for our grand opening in January! It's taken a long time to get done and it has been a lot of hard work. First we had to find a suitable building, then we had to paint it, then we had to carpet it, then we had to build base stock, all that is left is buying our furniture now -- which we're doing tonight if all goes well.
Once everything's in place I will get pictures to share with you all, I'm sure. Until then you'll just have to wait, unless of course you're local and can stop by the shop and get a sneak peak early.
With that out of the way the next topic is schnoodles. My parent's puppy arrived while we were out of town and I just got to meet him yesterday. I've always been more of a cat person really, but this puppy is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. He looks like Snuggles the fabric softener bear from way back when, you know the one I'm talking about? Only stands about 4 inches tall and weighs less than 3 pounds. He fell asleep on my foot at dinner.
Our trip to Florida to visit family was pleasant, despite that we missed our flight into Tampa the first time around and had to reschedule the flight for the following day at the crack of dawn. We had a good time once we arrived though. Getting used to the fact that it was 30 degrees and snowing up here but 80 degrees and humid down there was a shock to the system. We arrived back safe in Ohio on Sunday and reunited with Spock who was all too happy we were back.
That's all I have to say, so I'll stfu now. I can't believe you read this far anyhow!
